Communications Director: Peter Cassuben

Peter Cassuben has a wealth of leading edge communications experience after 25 years of key roles in media, government and corporate and marketing communications.

Co-founder of the public relations agency, Maxicom PR, Peter is an experienced strategic thinker, advisor and communicator. He has assisted brands and companies large and small across a wide range of industry sectors and specialises in corporate marketing communications and public relations.

Peter has helped some companies make the challenging transition from IPO to successful public listing and beyond. His particular interest is working with companies to maximise shareholder value and increase investor and customer support. He has managed issues and crises for large companies (ASX 200), organisations and also individuals.

As a Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff to the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Peter provided communications and policy advice to the Prime Minister, Mr Howard and the Australian Government. Peter also served as a Senior Advisor to the Federal Transport Minister, Mark Vaile. He also assisted Ministers for Industry; Financial Services; Sport and Tourism as a Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff.

Peter has a close working knowledge of Australia’s media and served as a Television Producer at the Nine Network's 60 Minutes and as a with ABC Television News and The 7.30 Report.

Peter maintains good relations with both sides of politics and continues to assist with policy issues and client representations at both State and Federal levels.
