The earliest form of industrial activity and the cornerstone of human civilisation is the cultivation of plants and the animals that feed upon them. Agriculture remains fundamental mankind’s survival – and so too does ready access to versatile forms of energy.

The carbon cycle, in which photosynthesis plays an important part, helped create the world’s abundant sources of fossil fuels. Daily, carbon dioxide is taken from the atmosphere and through plants such as algae is sequestered into carbon and returned to the earth.

MBD Energy’s downstream products will be derived by using modern technologies to tap into the natural phenomena of photosynthesis and the carbon cycle. Through our proprietary ‘BAGS’ System and harnessing the immense opportunity of abundant captured flue gas CO2 – we are able to deliver rich new sources of biofuels, nutrition and clean water.
