MBD Energy Limited has a technical team based at its Research and Development Facility James Cook University in Townsville, led by Chief Technical and R&D Manager, Scott Grierson.

The scientific team at the Research and Development Facility is led by world renowned Marine Biologist, Professor Rocky De Nys.

Together MBD’s Technical and Scientific Teams have collaboratively researched and developed all of the scientific and technical knowhow that has been required to establish the first and second stages of the company’s CO2 to Energy Algal Synthesiser at Tarong Power Station.

The Technical and Scientific teams are working through a multi-faceted research and development program focussed on enabling large-scale commercial projects by delivering timely knowledge and expertise in a world-leading, expeditious manner.
